Walkers will have noticed that access to Hankerton copse in the Wildlife Area has been blocked by a fallen limb from the adjacent oak tree lying across the bridge for the last week. This has now been cleared  by members of the village and you may use the bridge again. Be warned  however there are several fallen limbs in the copse which are stuck in other trees and are likely to fall at any moment.
