Hankerton has come FIRST in the first round of the Best Kept Village competition !

First Round Results

The covering letter that came with the results contained the following paragraph :

“The winning villages in each category are currently being judged in the County Round, to determine the Large, Medium and Small Best Kept Villages in Wiltshire.  The Presentation Day for those winners will be held on Sunday 11th October at the three winning villages’ locations.  Arrangements for the presentation of other prizes (as detailed in the Entry Invitation letter) will be made in due course and I shall be in contact with the representatives of all villages concerned.”

Note the “currently” !   We need to keep picking up litter and trimming those edges !

Everyone is invited to the Licensing Service of Revd Phil Daniels on 29th July in All Saints Church, Crudwell.
