Gentle Bike Riding or Walking

On Saturday 12th September, there is the annual “Ride and Stride” taking part throughout Wiltshire. It is aimed at raising money for church repairs and the idea is that you find a few sponsors and trundle round the local villages on the minor roads, popping in to the odd church for a quick refreshment.

Half the money raised stays with the Hankerton Church and the other half goes to Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust  (Anglican, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Methodist and URC) to maintain other churches needing vital repairs and maintenance.
