Someone sent me this article today :-

Bath and Wells Diocese’s churches to deliver broadband

What prompted this thought for me was listening to the ex Chief Operating Officer of BT explaining on the Radio 4 Today programme why BT’s current “Superfast Broadband” project is a con that won’t deliver the speeds needed. He was saying that in his own village he got a local farmer to dig a trench, laid an optical connection to the church, and then installed wireless broadband for the village !

Pah !   I thought, we’ve had it for ages in Hankerton………
