Malmesbury and District U3A Local History group invite you to come to a special meeting on

Ben Kane, a celebrated author of fiction based on the Roman era, will be here to give a presentation entitled, ‘ Massacre in the German Forests AD 9. Rome’s greatest defeat?’

He will recount the fascinating history behind his trilogy of novels set at this time, including the latest and illuminating archeological finds at the Kalkriese site.
