A talk at Oaksey Village Hall on 26 May at 7.30pm.

Fred Price who runs the Oaksey History Group has invited us to join them for this talk.

“The talk is entitled “Local Railwayana” and will be about the Malmesbury Branch and the Oaksey Halt. David Fenton, who will give the Talk, has written several books about our local Railway and it should be an interesting evening. I hope you will be able to join us. Regards, Fred”

Community Policing is a new policing model introduced across Wiltshire Police in 2016, it has replaced the previous model of separate teams such as Neighbourhood Policing and Response, to bring together all officers, civilian staff and Special Constables in an area to work as one Community Policing Team.

Today’s local elections had 93 through the church door yesterday plus all those who did a postal vote.

The local presiding officer thought this was a very good turnout. Well done the villagers.
