Message From Nicki Robinson

Hi there
My family and I are moving into Hankerton woopee!! 3 Hillwell . on the Tuesday the 18th of July however the removal and 19th of July, all of our belongings are staying in storage overnight of the 18th which means I have no freezer until the next day approx 10/12noon on the Wednesday is there any body who might have a little bit of space in their freezer please if I can put it into carrier bags and into a cold box for the journey down, might there be anyone who might have a bit of room in their freezer just until our freezers arrive the following day, Please can you let me know if anyone can donate us some freezer space as we don’t really want to be giving food away as the move is costing us enough. Thanks so much and if this isn’t allowed to be posted Simon please do delete it. Also can the young girl who does the pet sitting please check her email, as I have sent her a message re. the move.
Thankyou so much please contact me asap if you might be able to help.

Street Fayre

Thanks to everyone who ventured out in inclement weather to attend the Street Fayre Planning Meeting. For those of you who couldn’t make it this is what it was all about…

The Street Fayre has become a tradition enjoyed by everyone over the years. Its origins go back to when fund raising was vital for the development of the North Aisle Community Area. Working with the Parochial Church Council (PCC) the funds help to provide a clean bright meeting place for the villagers of Hankerton. This year’s funds helped to pay for replacement lighting.

Last year we were extremely short of helpers, and most of us are not getting any younger, hence the Planning meeting. We need more volunteers and would really appreciate help, even if you can only spare half an hour. If you feel you can give some time then just contact one of us.

Many thanks,

The North Aisle Committee.

Events

Hello all !   The Hankerton website is looking very empty at the moment…..

Are there any events coming up in the village ?  Please can you let me know of anything that’s happening and let me have any posters, images, text, whatever – I can then put it on the website and help the events attract more people.

Thanks,
Simon.
