Every Village has a history and we are tracing ours from the Paleolithic to the present. This is an exhibition of photographs, artefacts and memories collected over the past few years that combine to give a surprising picture of a small village.

Unfortunately this meeting has been postponed again. It is now not taking place on the 31st October. A new date will be published when it has been agreed.
The next general meeting of the History group is postponed by 1 week to the last day in October 31st at 7.30 in the Church as usual. The principle thing for discussion that night is the exhibition at Athelstan Museum and the committee will hopefully be able enlarge on what we are planning.

I have attached details of visits to the Oceanography Centre and to the Met office. .As usual we are invited to join the party as guests (paying of course).
Note both have high security and you will need your photo identity proof such as your passport of photo driving licence. Be prepared full giving full details.
