There have been reports of criminals operating in the area.
There have been a number of break ins and attempted break ins in Minety, Upper Minety and surrounding villages.
The thieves waited until the school run time and then gained entry from across fields at the rear of the property.
In Oaksey someone has reported a “charity worker” requesting cash and then attempting to force their way into the house when refused.
Hankerton Village 
Have just been notified that two foreign men have tried to force their way into the old post office in Hankerton and they had already been to her neighbours house prior to that keep your eyes peeled folks . Please be aware they have been in Hankerton about 15/20 minutes ago .
So don’t leave the house open and don’t answer the door to strangers xx
