On the 5th, 6th and 7th October, my husband Gaz (from no. 31, Follyfield) will be undertaking an ultra-endurance coastal run in aid of charity.
The Event
The Atlantic Coast Challenge is an ultra-endurance running event held over three days, covering a distance of around 80miles (plus coastal landslips dictating extra mileage!) That’s over three trail marathons, in three days. Wild and rugged, steep climbs and descents that test concentration as well as strength (and sanity). The course follows the South West Coast path for the entire distance along the wildest and remotest parts of the Cornish Coast, finishing at Land’s End on the third day.
He is running in aid of Children with Cancer which actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. The vision is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.
I will be supporting him at every check point along with our four children. Any support you can give this charity is greatly appreciated.
