Step Into Spring

Step Into Sprint

On Saturday 25th May the Parish Council organised a meadow walk to celebrate the beauty of the Wiltshire Wildlife Meadows. These meadows are rare and we are fortunate in Hankerton to live in a village bordered by such a well conserved area.

Many thanks to the enthusiasts who supported the ramble and special thanks to Steve Davies who acted as an excellent wildlife guide on this occasion. His detailed knowledge and observations were much appreciated by all.

Best Kept Village

Scoring between the first 3 was very close with 4th a little further away.  Glad we entered – 1st place next year!  The judges’ report will be posted once received – which could be up to a couple of weeks away on previous experience.

Thanks
Michael
