The survey of village opinion that ran in August of this year showed a 2:1 ratio of people in favour of creating a children’s play area on the current amenity area site near the entrance to Old Farm Close.
It was therefore decided at the Parish Council meeting of 2nd September 2019 that an implementation group would be formed to progress the project.
Dan Lydiate was the chair on the previous group and has already investigated a number of funding options which look promising.
Unfortunately Dan is not available to chair the implementation group as he has just started work on his PhD (Good Luck Dan !).
The Parish Council is therefore now looking for volunteers to join the implementation group and complete the project.
The PC has arranged a meeting for Saturday 16th November at 12:00 in the North Aisle area of the church.
Please come along and lend your support to this worthwhile project.
If anyone would be happy to help but can’t make the meeting on the 16th then please mail me at email@example.com to let me know of your interest.
