Following yesterday’s post I had a number of responses about the road closure – thank you.

From what I can gather the work relates to Gigaclear bringing high speed internet connections to the area. At present they’re working in Upper Minety and traffic is being diverted off Flisteridge Road onto Hankerton Road / Cloatley Road.

When the work in Upper Minety is complete Gigaclear will start work on Cloatley Road.

The sign in Hankerton at the Cloatley Road junction is incorrect when it says the road will be closed from 22 June. It should say it will be closed from 29 June.
