I would like to say huge “Thank You” to everyone who donated items for the Ukrainian Appeal. The response from the village and surroundings was absolutely overwhelming. People have been so kind and generous. All your donations have now been sorted, packed and labelled ( with special thanks to Heather and Helen for helping me with this task!)
We have taken all the donations ( four trips) to two distribution centres in Swindon. One is organising lorries to go to Poland and the second one is preparing a lorry to go to Moldova, with four drivers and two support vehicles. See photo above.
I am confident that all your donations will arrive safely and will make a huge difference to the Ukrainian refugees who have left their homes leaving everything behind.
