Just a quick reminder about the outage tomorrow

I’ve now had replies from SSEN. There will be two power outages on :
– Thursday 6th November (Ref 244951)
– Thursday 13th November (Ref 245388)

The outage on the 06/11 is to install a new connection to the network. The power will be isolated between 09:00-16:00.

The outage on the 13/11 is to replace existing equipment. A generator will be provided for certain NRN numbers for this planned work. Those who will lose power will be off supply between 08:30-16:00.


The SSEN website doesn’t have details of future outages, just those in progress.

On the day of the outage you’ll be able to see progress <here>. Of course you’ll need some sort of battery powered device with mobile internet connectivity.
