We now have the arrangements in place for Dad’s funeral. The crematorium will just be family and very close friends.
But for anyone else who would like to join us we are having a celebration of Dad’s motoring life at Winkworth Farm in Lea, at 2pm on Tuesday 17th June.
I would love to see everyone there and if people are able to come I’d like to know so that I can get an idea on numbers for the caterers. Apparently they need to know by the middle of next week (11th).
Also to note: No flowers Bright clothes Interesting car if possible

I am sad to report that this lovely man passed away on Wednesday night. Bunny was what I would call a “proper chap”. Always helpful, known by everyone, always welcoming, and fun to be with.
Probably best known by most for his love of all things automotive and always involved in village events.
I have many memories of Bunny but the ones that always stick with me are ones like this :
He’ll be missed by many, many people.
His daughter Abby has also asked me to pass on :
“Perhaps you could add something from me in terms of thanking all the those who have helped my dad over the last few years – many of whom went far beyond what was expected”
“We are sceptical of claims for the ability of random mutationand natural selection to account for the complexity of life.Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged.”
“Because no scientist can show how Darwin’s mechanism can produce the complexity of life, every scientist should be sceptical” says biologist Douglas Axe. He adds, “ the fact that most won’t admit to this exposes the unhealthy effect of peer pressure on scientific discourse”
Honest debate is needed on this most important issue. Next weekend there is an opportunity to do just that! There will be a time for questions following the afternoon session. Come along and have your say.

When you go to vote today, do remember that you need to have photo ID with you. This could be a driving licence or a bus pass, veteran card or similar. A full list is available on the Electoral Commission’s website.
We hope you, your family and friends will take advantage of this exclusive opportunity, to participate in the above 5 or 7 mile charity hike/run in aid of Tetbury Hospital, by kind permission of Juddmonte Farms.
Over the past four years, this charity hike has helped raise over £43,000 – monies raised this year, will go towards a new X-ray machine which has an estimated cost of £250,000. So, please ask all your friends, family and business associates to help support your local hospital, a fantastic facility, which we are all so very lucky to have on our doorstep.
We’re sure it will be another great day out for everyone and a chance to meet fellow hikers/runners in beautiful surroundings on a private estate. Please see the attached leaflet for further information and how to book.
However, if you are unable to attend but would like to support the day, there are opportunities available to sponsor parts of the event or any donations would be greatly appreciated.
