Here’s this week’s update on the roadworks.

Basically, the team are skipping the next stage which is drilling under the stream and digging the following trench section (Stream to Dove House).

Here’s what Dan the engineer said :

"Another 100m of work has been completed this week.

Next week Concreting is due to take place on Tuesday (02/06/26) and tarmacking is due for Friday (05/06/26).

We are starting work on a new section beyond the drilling point through to Dove House. Due to the drillers’ timeline, we will return later to complete the drilling works.

The overall programme remains accurate, and we are currently on target."
